Port of Pascagoula

 

Welcome to the Port of Pascagoula, a full-service deep water port with modern facilities for handling cargo.  Located in the state of Mississippi on the northern Gulf of Mexico, the Port of Pascagoula has two harbors, the Pascagoula River Harbor (West)  and the Bayou Casotte Harbor (East).  The Port’s two harbors are a combination of public and private terminals moving in excess of 35 million tons of cargo through the channels annually.

The LNG Tanker Gaslog Singapore sailed into the Port of Pascagoula on June 18, 2011, to unload the commissioning cargo for Gulf LNG Energy's new terminal. The LNG Tanker is 932 ft. long, has a beam of 144 ft., and has capacity for 155,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas

The new $1.1 billion terminal, which is on schedule to open for commercial business in October, is operated by El Paso Corporation.
